Another new clip for Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 has given the futuristic franchise’s fans a brief tease before its worldwide debut on April 23rd, immediately being bombarded with negative criticism and dislikes for its overall unlikable appearance.
The new clip uploaded to Netflix Japan’s YouTube account:
Much like the live action Cowboy Bebop series, a second season is already planned (revealed as far back as 2018) despite the first not being released yet and the sizable backlash – comments regarding the clip:
Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045’s first 12-episode season makes its worldwide debut on April 23rd.

If someone did stop motion animation (ala wallace & gromit) with nendroids, it’d look better.
Slav l♥♥i agrees with you.
Potato aproves 😉
If it’s made in 60 fps like the Altered Carbon animation movie was, I’ll call it a 10/10.
Sadly, trailer can’t confirm it, so we’ll have to check it ourselves.
Yeah that Altered Carbon animation was way better than it had any right to be. Same with Gantz.
This is only at PS2 cinematic quality. Example: .hack//G.U.
G.U. had better cutscenes than this.
I wish there was something which looked as good as that.
👌👍
Who is still surprised by these reactions?!? This is exactly what happens when you expand a franchise with the help of a B-Studio from Production IG and a russian artist as leading character designer, who is an absolute greenhorn in anime production. The final design and rendering would have been different if the Production IG main studio had taken care of the whole production in collaboration with this russian artist. Unfortunately, in the end this courageous industry decision will damage this popular franchise once again …
>a russian artist
do you mean a russian tracer
I meant the artist “Ilya Kuvshinov”
Who got famous by tracing other people’s images.
Now if your brave enough to say it, you can quote your citations.
The funny part about this Ilya and his first anime projects: GitS_SAC_2045 which was produced by SOLA Digital Arts Inc. studio looks and feels awful on most scenes. Now compare this with the other project called “Birthday Wonderland” which was produced by Signal MD studio. The visual style and quality is light years ahead of SOLA’s content. This means that Production IG and their other studio SOLA fcked up the production. I will attach a trailer to the other Ilya anime: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSMNewEFRR8
I got ya
Looks like a literal Fortnite cutscene. When will studios learn that no one likes 3D, especially shitty 3D, anime?
The problem isn’t actually that they’re using 3D, the problem is that they’re using 3D to cut corners, and when they make said 3D they cut all the corners they can find so the outcome is shitty 3D. Good 3D animation is a thing. It’s not even a rare thing, it’s a common thing.
They’ve been using 3D with anime since like the 80s, it’s just that at that time they used 3D to improve the quality, rather than reduce cost or save time, there were just some things that were easier to do well via 3D than by hand. (For example animating missile barrages) and most of the time you won’t even notice they used 3D.
It’s perfectly fine to use 3D, but what they’re doing here… is more like abusing 3D.
You’ve lost me at 3D
Remember when everyone hated Houseki no Kuni?
The crazy thing is that when it comes to games, the 3D animated cutscenes looks fantastic enough to be it’s own show, but for some reason when it comes to anime, they try too hard to make the 3D stuff look like 2D stuff. When will they learn?
Netflix is nothing but gay s♥♥t.
That’s a bold blanket statement. Sure there are lots of gay things on Netflix but to say it’s nothing but gay s♥♥t is a bit of a reach around.
It’s a 100% fact that it is tranny gay s♥♥t and they make money like water.
It’s puke material
